What if I need to Cancel a Session?
I understand that life happens and you may need to miss a session. If possible, I will try to reschedule with you. Please understand that this may not be possible.
What If My Tutor Needs to Cancel a Session?
As I said above, life happens. We are all busy and unexpected things come up. If I need to cancel a session, I will make all attempts to notify you ahead of time. I will also do my best to try to reschedule the session. If I am unable to provide a make up session, you will not be charged for the session.
Other Information:
I am open to working with ALL families, children and people who would benefit from the educational services that I provide. However, I am still teaching full time and must abide by some restrictions in my teacher contract. I’m not able to tutor children who are current students.
Why is Tutoring Twice Per Week? Why Can’t I Sign Up for Once Per Week?
I love learning about current reading research and best practices. In doing so, I have learned that multiple exposures is truly best for struggling readers. It allows more frequent practice on the skills being taught and gives the child the best chance at success. As someone who believes strongly that all struggling readers need the best chance at success, I have set up my program in a way that supports that. For this reason, it is recommended that sessions are scheduled twice per week, in order for students to make progress.
2025 Fall Availability:
