If you need Christmas activities for kindergarten, try this scavenger hunt that works on letter identification. Each colorful holiday tree has an uppercase and lowercase letter on it. Students can cross off or color each letter on their recording sheet as they find it.

Teaching rhyming words? This is a fun activity to practice rhyming skills, while still working at the sound level. There are no words in this activity, only pictures, which encourages practice of phonological awareness skills. Students match colored leaves with pictures to the tree that includes a “matching” photo with a word that rhymes.
